Book Sale!

GSAC has been collecting unwanted soc-related textbooks in order to sell them to raise money for fun activities for grad students. We realized there may be some that you are interested in buying them, so we will be holding a book sale on Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29 from 3-5pm both days, in 69 CAB. While it is a social gathering accompanied by refreshments (including beer!) and pizza, it is also a time to voice any questions or concerns as well.

We did ask for RSVPs to this meeting, but if you forgot that's okay! Come any way!!

Weekly GSAC Social Event at Seven Saints!

A lot of grad students in our department have lamented the lack of social events to bring everyone together to talk about classes, dissertations, or just to blow off steam, so GSAC (along with the first year cohort) has decided to fix that situation.

Come out Thursday nights at 8:00 pm to Esquire Seven Saints to meet and hang out with fellow grad students. This will be a weekly event so if you can't make it one week, no worries.

The first gathering will be tonight, so we hope to see you there!

**Edit: The grad student Thursday night events will be taking place at Seven Saints.
