Book Sale!

GSAC has been collecting unwanted soc-related textbooks in order to sell them to raise money for fun activities for grad students. We realized there may be some that you are interested in buying them, so we will be holding a book sale on Wednesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 29 from 3-5pm both days, in 69 CAB. Instead of paying full price, donate what you can for the grad student funds.

Annual Grad Student Meeting with Dr. Anna Marshall!

Come join and meet fellow graduate students and our department head, Anna Marshall, for a lively discussion about our sociology department. As part of a tradition for Anna, she would like to not only get to know all of us better, but also to discuss life with us in the department as well as what the future holds. While it is a social gathering accompanied by refreshments (including beer!) and pizza, it is also a time to voice any questions or concerns as well.

We did ask for RSVPs to this meeting, but if you forgot that's okay! Come any way!!

Date: Wednesday September 30th

Time: 5 p.m.

Place: Bread Company, 706 S Goodwin Ave, Urbana
